“Working with Lucy has honestly been the best decision I've made for my recovery. After years of bouncing between different services and feeling like I was getting nowhere (NHS, private, other coaches, you name it!) I finally found someone who actually understood what was going on in my head. Lucy is approachable, kind, incredibly knowledgeable and never once made me feel judged. It genuinely felt like there wasn't a question she couldn't answer or a situation she hadn't come across before.”

“I can't recommend Lucy highly enough. She is warm, easy to talk to and makes you feel understood from the very first conversation. I'd spent years in and out of conventional eating disorder services, completing programmes but always finding myself back where I started. Working with Lucy was completely different. She doesn't sugarcoat things, but she also never makes you feel criticised. She tells you what you need to hear, not what your eating disorder wants to hear. That honesty, alongside her sense of humour, made such a difference. I felt safe talking to Lucy which is a big thing for me. What also was so helpful was knowing Lucy has been in my shoes before so wasn’t just guessing at what to say to me to help me. I'm not fully recovered yet, but I know without a doubt that I'm on the right path. For the first time, recovery feels achievable rather than impossible.”

“Lucy has an incredible ability to make you feel like you're talking to someone who's completely in your corner. She's empathetic, knowledgeable and genuinely understands eating disorders in a way I've never experienced before. Every question I asked was met with an explanation that actually made sense. It honestly felt like there wasn't anything she didn't know. I loved that she never let my eating disorder manipulate the conversation. There was no nonsense to no tiptoeing and at first I thought I'd hate that... it turns out it was exactly what I needed. I wish I’d have found this support sooner but so glad I finally did.”

"After nearly fifteen years of living with an eating disorder, I'd started to believe this was just my life. Working with Lucy changed that completely. She combines an incredible depth of professional knowledge with genuine warmth, humour and compassion. She somehow knows exactly when to challenge you and exactly when to support you. The WhatsApp support was particularly helpful and like nothing I’d come across before. It meant I didn’t have to wait a full week to get answers to my questions that ultimately meant challenging the eating disorder faster.”

“If you want someone who will tell your eating disorder exactly where to go, Lucy is your person. She's refreshingly straight talking, takes absolutely no nonsense from the eating disorder but in the best possible way! It's such a unique combination. Underneath that honesty is someone who is incredibly caring and understanding. I always felt listened to, never judged and completely supported, even on the weeks I struggled. Knowing I had Lucy in my corner made recovery feel so much less lonely. I'm still working towards full recovery, but I know I'm going to get there because I finally have the right support. Choosing to work with Lucy has been one of the best investments I've ever made, and I'd recommend her to anyone serious about getting their life back.”

“I can honestly say that working with Lucy has changed my life. I was able to come so far in my recovery because of her invaluable advice and her kind but firm hand. I love her approach to ED recovery and find it unique, but so effective. I found that having someone who has been in your shoes, and someone to just listen and help to rationalize fears or guilt etc, was so critical for my recovery. In a nutshell, I learned that I am not my ED, and there’s so much more to life than how you look or what you weigh. Food does not have to be difficult, and is just an “add-on” to what life is really about, like friends and family and hobbies and new adventures and experiences! While I don’t consider myself to be completely recovered just yet, I definitely could not have made it this far without coaching from Lucy. Life feels so much easier and less heavy. Decisions are easier, my relationships are better, and there’s so much freedom now with food that I never would have imagined before. I have so much more mental clarity and less food noise. While I still have a ways to go, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel for full recovery and I really feel like having coaching has given me tools and the push I needed to get this far, mentally and physically!”
